Do I need to own a business?

One does not have to own a business. Members include teachers, nurses, governement workers, real estate agents and many other professions.
Do you have to be older to join Rotary?

Absolutely not ! Many clubs have Rotarians in their 20's, 30’s and 40’s as well as experienced managers who have been committed to Rotary for a long time.
How much does Rotary membership cost

We have 2 types of membership to the Rotary Club of Belmont Full membership - $330 per year Friends of Rotary is $25 per year
Is the Rotary a male only organization?

Rotary started out as a men only organization but has changed its constitution to allow women for well over twenty years. Women now play important roles in Rotary including as club Presidents and District Governors.
What happens at Rotary Meetings?

We mingle and chat for 15 to 20 minutes then find a seat at a table. We welcome everyone who is attending then chat with the other business people and professionals at the table. After some housekeeping we eat lunch and listen to a presentation from someone for 20 to 25 minutes. The presentation is an information piece and topics range widely.
