2019 Tuk Tuk library supported through a District Simplified Grant and Belmont Rotary. Improving Literacy through support programs and books in Northern Laos
Two DSG (District Simplified Grants) in 2017 and 2018 have supported the brilliant work in literacy and hygiene through the Luang Prabang library and the staff. Here the staff have taken books to a remote school to leave so the children have reading materials and are running a hygiene workshop around hand washing and teeth cleaning. Remote schools in northern Laos often have few resources and no reading books.
